Following are Google Sheets features to help you use “Sheets”. Many of the features still require documentation. Thanks for your patience.
Printing in Google Sheets:
- Click File menu (top left or Ctrl+P),
- Click Print,
- At Print settings, click NEXT,
- Then click Print.
- NOTE: You can change Landscape/ Portrait at Print settings and Destination or Copies at last print screen.
Managing Rows in Google Sheets:
- Add or Insert a row:
- In Google Sheets, position your mouse cursor over the row where you want to insert.
- Click the right mouse button (or “right click”).
- At the popup menu, click Insert row.
- Delete a row:
- In Google Sheets, position your mouse cursor over the row you want to delete.
- Click the right mouse button (or “right click”).
- At the popup menu, click Delete row.
- Hide a row:
- In Google Sheets, position your mouse cursor over the number of the row (far left).
- Click the right mouse button (or “right click”).
- At the popup menu, click Hide row.
- Unhide a row:
- In Google Sheets, find hidden row number (far left gap in numbers).
- Click the black down or up arrow to unhide the row(s).
- Filter to see subset of rows (Example: show Goals by Category):
- In Google Sheets, find the heading of the column to filter by (at top).
- Click the inverted triangle (with 3 horizontal lines).
- At popup (Sort A-Z, etc), scroll down and select only the values you want to see – then click OK.
- To clear the filter, do the same steps 1 to 3 and select “Clear” – then click OK.
